Wacade-setup crashes when building lists

When i try to setup my mame lists by clicking "setup filters" I get this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/share/wahcade/win_filter.py", line 245, in on_cboLists_changed
self.load_filter()
File "/usr/local/share/wahcade/win_filter.py", line 275, in load_filter
if self.current_filter[fk[0]] == str(idx):
KeyError: 'filter_type'

I've got about 2000 roms in my directory. I'm running sdlmame .151 I think, and the version of wahcade that I got came from bzn. Is there something that I'm doing wrong here?

Are you using the experimental build from bzr? also known as Mah!Cade? Hasn't been updated in a while now but it includes alot of fixes for these kidns of problems, would be good to know if there is a new problem with later mame builds.

I do think Mah!Cade should be released as stable as Wahcade 0.99 is so deprecated that it doesn't function on modern systems.

I agree to that.
I am using Mahcade for a long time now.

I just wish it had more seemless integration with user space drivers such as xboxdrv.

I have no 'current' plans to release a stable version, the intent of Mah!Cade is to be a Wah!Cade experimental where new features/fixtures can be tested.

I'd be using git(hub) if I had intended for it to replace the main project ;)
