Icon for Wah!Cade Setup utility?

Postby battlecat » Fri Mar 21, 2008 12:44 pm

I use GNOME or XFCE and sometimes KDE. I see that Wah!Cade creates an icon for the program in the applications menu but I was wondering why it doesn't create an icon for the setup utility or theme creator? Why make users go cli for this?

Also it might be nice to be able to select from two startup icons. One that is windowed and one that would be fullscreen. This way if your multitasking you can still run Wah!Cade as a windowed version.

Thanks

I've wondered about menu items for the Setup & Layout editors. Anybody have ideas on which menu category they should go under? (They're not really games in themselves so probably don't belong in the "Games" submenu).

I would put the layout editor and the setup editor under the System>Preferences menu. The reason is that the System>Administration menu usually requires admin privileges and they are not needed for Wah!cade.

I personally think that they could go under games all in a row. It would be much easier to manage the system that way. No hunting around. Its also the first place I look for game editors.
